Said Baaghil, Managing Director of Logic, a
contemporary marketing company specializing in the leisure and food industries,
shares his experience. We wanted to create a sanctuary in the heart of
the city, a place where friends can meet and exchange ideas in an inspiring
context.
Said founded Pearls Café along with
his business partner Omar Williamson, Assistant Managing Director of Logic.
Together they researched the market carefully. The concept for Pearls
Café didnt come up overnight. After the research results, Omar and
I brainstormed for many days. Our best ideas usually came out of our ritual
meetings over a cup of coffee. Thats how Pearls Café was
born.
Omar and Said admit they are the bipolar
opposites of each other. Saids animated presence reveals his creativity,
his out-going personality, and his knack for facing challenges head on. A
Marketing graduate, his inspiration comes from his two passions: music and
cultures. An avid guitar player, he thrives on Jazz, the World music of Deep
Forest, and the African beat of Soukos music. As for his love of cultures, it
has taken him to many parts of the world, including the United States, Benin,
South Africa, Kenya, China and Holland.
Kenya, China and Holland. Omars
seemingly cool exterior hides behind it a sharp sense of humor, and a keen mind
for science, logistics and all things structured. A Biochemistry and Computer
Science graduate, he patented his very own invention at the age of 18. Omar has
traveled and lived in many places, but finds himself most captivated by the
beauty of Scotlands mountains.

Together the dynamic duo makes a strong
team, straddling both realms of creative inspiration and structured process.
They launched Logic less than a year ago, as a small company of two people.
Today, it includes fifty-six team members and growing. In Pearls
Cafétheir first offering to the Saudi marketthey hope to
provide a unique experience. Omar Williamson sums it up we want people to
feel they have the freedom to escape to a world of their choice.
